Archbishop Paul Ssemwogerere Visits HIWI Uganda and St. Joseph’s Hospital Wakiso
We were honored to receive a special visit from Archbishop Paul Ssemwogerere, Archbishop of the Kampala Archdiocese, at Health is Wealth Initiative (HIWI Uganda) and St. Joseph’s Hospital Wakiso, both located within the same building. The Archbishop’s visit was a momentous occasion that strengthened the bonds between faith-based leadership and community health services.
During his visit, Archbishop Ssemwogerere toured the facilities, engaging with staff, volunteers, and patients to learn firsthand about the impactful work being done to improve health outcomes in Wakiso and surrounding areas. He commended both institutions for their dedication to serving vulnerable populations and fostering holistic care that integrates physical, social, and spiritual well-being.
The Archbishop also emphasized the importance of collaboration between religious organizations and healthcare providers in promoting community development and moral support. His presence encouraged continued commitment to compassionate service and inspired staff to deepen their mission of delivering accessible and quality healthcare.
